2011年考研網上報名已于10月31日結束，網上報名結束后，所有考生均須于11月10日-14日到所選報考點現場確認網報信息，并繳費照相。確認時，考生持本人有效身份證件、學歷證書和網上報名編號，由報考點工作人員核對，考生確認本人網報信息。自考本科生和網絡教育本科生還須憑已經取得的國家承認的大學本科畢業證書方可辦理網上報名現場確認手續。考生按規定繳納報考費，并采集考生本人圖像信息。
2011年1月1日-14日，考生憑網報用戶名和密碼登錄研究生在職研究生網(/)下載打印《準考證》，招生單位不再給考生寄發《準考證》。考生憑下載打印的《準考證》和本人有效身份證件參加初試，
