廣外MBA學院首次校友春茗活動

3月9日下午，廣東外語外貿(mào)大學MBA學院2013年校友春茗活動在學院402會議室舉行，拉開了MBA學院2013年度校友會活動的序幕。MBA學院孫曉琴院長、馬紹壯副院長和MBA校友會主要成員及聯(lián)合會代表出席了此次活動。活動由馬紹壯副院長主持。

在歡快的音樂聲中，校友們首先欣賞廣外MBA捐建的櫻花園櫻花盛開時的美景視頻。馬紹壯副院長首先歡迎各位校友回校，參加“家庭式的春茗聚會”。隨后，孫曉琴院長為大家介紹了MBA學院的發(fā)展情況、發(fā)展特色和發(fā)展前景，特別是學院在課程設置和本土國際化方面的新舉措。她強調(diào)學院將不斷提高辦學質(zhì)量，保證生源質(zhì)量，努力把MBA學院打造成為國際化特色鮮明的高水平商學院。

MBA校友會會長王進宏、執(zhí)行會長龔玉川對去年的工作進行了簡要總結(jié)回顧。副會長龐輝、黎迪和肖首鵬就校友會換屆和未來發(fā)展發(fā)表了看法。廣外MBA聯(lián)合會主席徐建軍對近期的工作做了簡要匯報，介紹了近期在梅州五華的留守兒童助學活動。在自由發(fā)言環(huán)節(jié)來，與會人員就校友活動、校友聯(lián)絡以及校友會與聯(lián)合會的聯(lián)動等話題展開了熱烈的討論，大家暢所欲言，為校友會的進一步發(fā)展建言獻策，氣氛熱烈。本次會議初定在今年6月底舉辦校友會換屆大會，并把校友會秘書處設于聯(lián)合會以更好地整合校友會和聯(lián)合會的資源和信息。

MBA學院目前有近300名校友。MBA學院和MBA校友會將致力于為校友提供終生學習的機會和多元化活動。

Together, the Alumni Association Will Be Better

MBA Alumni’s spring reception was held on March 9th in No. 9 building’s meeting room for the first time, which is also a prelude of Alumni Association in 2013. The Dean of Graduate School of Business (GSB), Prof. Sun Xiaoqin, vice dean of GSB Prof. MA Shaozhuang, and members from MBA Alumni Association and MBA Association presented the reception.

Before the reception, Alumni enjoyed the video of cherry blossom in the MBA-donated cherry garden. The opening remarks were addressed by Prof. Ma Shaozhuang and Ma expressed warm welcome to the participants. Prof. Sun Xiaoqin introduced the development of GSB, highlighted the distinctive character and prospects, particularly the new initiatives of curriculum and glocalizaiton. She also emphasized the importance of instruction and candidates’ quality to fullfill the vision that we will be a model Business School with distinctive features.

President of Alumni Association Wang Jinhong and Executive President of Alumni Association Gong Yuchuan addressed a brief review of last year’s work. Xu Jianjun, Chair of MBA Association, also delivered a summary on recent work, covering the aid of impoverished stay-at-home children in Meizhou, Guangdong Province. In the opened-floor session, Participants held a heated discussion on the theme concerned Alumni and offered advice and suggestions. An initial decision was reached that the General Assembly of Alumni Association will be held by the end of June this year and Alumni Association Secretariat will be based in MBA Association.
